DriveSmart Driver privacy notice

DriveSmart Driver is a work app provided by your fleet operator. Your fleet manages your driver account and the work records you submit.

Data the app uses

The app uses your name, contact details, fleet account and driver documents. It records shifts, inspections, deliveries, fuel, expenses, safety scores, rewards, training and dispatch messages. Photos, receiver signatures and voice notes are collected when you attach them.

Location and permissions

With your permission, the app shares location during an active trip while the app is open, and attaches location to issues and SOS alerts. It does not request background location. Camera, photo library, microphone, NFC and notification permissions support the actions you choose.

Storage and service providers

Waiting submissions and photos are saved on your phone and uploaded to your fleet’s private Supabase storage when a connection is available. Authentication credentials are stored in the phone’s secure storage. Fuel-slip images may be processed by Anthropic to read receipt fields. Expo delivers push notifications. If your fleet enables Sentry, technical crash diagnostics are sent to that service.

Access and retention

Drivers see their own records. Authorized fleet staff can review work records within their assigned permissions. Your fleet sets its retention schedule and may retain operational or financial records after your app account is removed where its obligations require this. Ask your fleet for its retention schedule and privacy contact.

Your account

In the app, open Settings & language → Request account deletion. Your fleet administrator reviews the request, removes app access, and anonymizes the driver account. You can also request deletion outside the app. For access, corrections or a privacy concern, contact your fleet’s dispatch or administrator using the contact details in your employment or fleet account documents.
